While they were all amazed at his every deed, Jesus said to his disciples, “Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.” LK 9:43B-44
God gives himself to people. Why? He knew what we’ll do with him. Jesus did not use power. He was quiet and humble to the end. This is the greatest mystery of love and mercy.
Jesus still be issued in the bloody hands of the people. He is in weak and the defenseless people. He is also in unborn children!
And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ MT 25:40
Lord Jesus, save the souls of those who kill defenseless children!
